Chat and Craft
We meet each Tuesday for a morning of fellowship, chatter and lots of knitting/crochet with coffee and biscuits too!
We have three “projects” on the go at the moment:
- “The Baby Bear Project” knitting for babies in Africa ,who have been born in hospital. Mum’s are given a parcel of clothes, a blanket and a little knitted teddy to go home with.
- Knitted blankets (mainly squares) for a charity working in war-torn countries
- Neonatal baby knitting for the unit at New Cross hospital.
All are welcome, whether you have been knitting or crocheting for years or weeks .... come along and join us. If you have any other crafts you enjoy, please come and bring your skills.
